The Grand Hôtel’s annual shellfish weeks at the Veranda restaurant are eagerly awaited by many. In order to meet the demand for this celebrated shellfish buffet, the hotel is now introducing a shellfish platter at the Cadier Bar.
Mathias Dahlgren’s restaurants Matsalen and Matbordet at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm will be serving their last meals on December 22, 2016. Thereafter, the premises will be undergoing an extensive renovation, making way for a completely new restaurant endeavour.

The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm is carrying out an extensive renovation of all rooms and suites in the Burmanska Palace part of the hotel this year. Located on the top floor, is the Princess Lilian suite – Grand Hôtel’s premier suite, an expansive 330 square metres in size. The Grand Hôtel is replacing the fitness machines in the popular Grand Hôtel Nordic Spa & Fitness for state-of-the-art, eco-friendly products from the ARTIS® Renew from Technogym. The machines harness the energy generated by the user’s workout and returns it to power the machine, while channelling any surplus energy to the general electricity grid.

Grand Hôtel is launching four new spa treatments, two of which – Grand Glow and Instant Glow – are specially developed for the Grand Hôtel in collaboration with the world renowned dermo-cosmetic company Biologique Recherche. Also added to the spa’s exclusive menu of treatments are an anti-stress massage called Flow and a Chakra Flow massage.
The Veranda restaurant will soon have a new entrance. From Friday, May 8, 2015 guests will be able to access the Veranda from Stallgatan, the street to the left of the hotel.
